Whether dressing up or dressing down, family holiday portraits are always such a fun time! This year will not be any different with the Petite Holiday Portrait Sessions in Downtown Houston on November 18 & 19th.
Friends, I pulled together a few ideas from Polyvore to give you a bit of inspiration, and a headstart on shopping for your entire crew. If your kids are like Grace & Ivory, it’s going to take an act of Congress to get Ivory in anything more than sweatpants and a Minecraft t-shirt and at least three weeks for Grace and I to just agree on what she’s going to wear, so I’m going to have to start early.
This year, I’m thinking of wearing a gold sequin dress from Hazel & Olive with pumps and Grace in a cute skirt/dress and Ivory in a plaid bow tie with navy pants, a sweater vest, and white collar shirt from J.Crew or Target. In my real life, we may end up in jeans and a t-shirt, but as I said, I’m starting early! #wishmeluck #hesprobablynotgoingforit
Also, if you’d like to rent a formal dress or tux, Rent The Runway , The Black Tux, and Couture House in the Woodlands rents formal dresses and gowns and tuxedos and suits. Target also has some of the cutest holiday dresses! Remember, it’s up to you on whether you’d like to dress up or down.
