We recently took Galveston Senior Pictures with Sierra, a senior at Porter High School. She absolutely loves the beach. I was so excited when she shared that she wanted to shoot her pictures in Galveston. We had so much fun with her walking in the water, seating on the sand, blowing glitter–her own way of saying goodbye to high school life. She said ‘I’m done!’ in style.

The water resembled a new journey, with so many unknowns, yet alluring. It was like a Christopher Columbus experience in the 21st century. As she leaves high school this week, she is going into a college life, that she’s never experienced. It was fitting that she had her high school farewell photos here.

I absolutely loved the balloons. Sierra was having a one person party and celebrating her senior year. Sometimes you just need to celebrate yourself all by yourself. This was her moment and she totally embraced it.

We started her session at the famous Galveston ice cream parlor LaKings Confectionery!   We had ice cream on the stran and celebrated her transition to college. I wish her all the best in her new life.
