Step One: Order your credit reports for free at Annual Credit Report: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/…

Option 2 in case your have a fraud alert or can’t obtain your credit report online from Annual Credit Report- Grab Your complete credit report and scores from www.creditchecktotal.com for $1 and CANCEL the account. If you don’t cancel it you’ll be bill $29.95 in seven days.

Step Two: Update your report to reflect your current name and address. Ask the agencies to remove the inaccurate information. Here are the phone numbers to call to update your info:

This includes your old addresses, names, misspellings, etc. You may have to verify your identity by answering a series of questions

Step Three- Dispute the incorrect information found on your report. You can do this online as well or by mail.  If submitting letters by mail there are letters in the group for that in the files section.

Here’s a link to the Facebook Group- Credit Warriors. It’s pretty good but you have to pay $19 for the letters. That’s the letters I’ve been using because it was just convenient.

 

In all honesty, you could just use Google and search the letters. They’re all available online for FREE. I just wanted to support a small business by purchasing her letters. Here’s the link to the Facebook credit repair group I help moderate.
