Las Vegas: Nelson Ghost Town

One of the great things about being a photographer is the opportunity to meet friends along the way with the same extrovert and carefree personality that you have. That’s exactly what happened during WPPI! My assistant and I were longing to go shoot in the beautiful desert there was only one problem: we didn’t have a car to get there and all of them were booked. While having a lunch, I saw a post in the WPPI Facebook Group “Heading to the desert to shoot. Anyone want to roll?” I was like heck yeah! And soon a group of perfect strangers were headed down highway off into the sunset together! We didn’t have a model or really anything planned but there happened to be a pretty model at the register when we arrived and wah lah! We pulled out the cash in our pockets and gave it to her for a few moments of her time! Amberlee, Candace, Erika, and I had way too much fun together! I can’t wait to see them again next year at WPPI!
